Mercy is seeking a compassionate New Grad Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on patient care under supportive preceptorship while building core clinical skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, documentation, and patient education. Deliver safe, compassionate bedside nursing care under RN preceptor guidance
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
Document care accurately in the EHR and follow clinical protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
Participate in orientation, mentorship, and ongoing clinical education
Escalate changes in patient condition promptly to providers
Patient assessment
