Mercy is seeking a compassionate Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you’ll deliver patient-centered care, administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You’ll educate patients and families, document care accurately, and support care plans across diverse medical specialties. Provide direct patient care in accordance with Mercy and regulatory standards
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document all care, assessments, and interventions in the EHR
Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols at all times
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
Support a compassionate, culturally sensitive patient experience
Engage in ongoing professional development and required clinical training
Patient assessment
Medication administration
IV therapy and venipuncture
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Wound care and dressing changes
Care planning and care coordination
Vital signs monitoring and interpretation
