Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) is a nonprofit organization recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC-LA) by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). An FQHC-LA is a community health center that provides comprehensive primary care and other services such as interpretation, transportation and health education for the community population. 

We have openings for Registered Nurses in our Center for Women's Medicine Practice and our Center of Hope Practice. 

Job Description: Our Registered Nurses prepares patient for examinations including basic diagnostic interviewing, rooming, administering medications and vaccines, wound care for wounds or incisions, and assisting with procedures within the physician office setting. Provides care to designated patients and care coordination across the continuum. Provides education on prescription medications and clinical concerns under the direction of a provider. 

Requirements

Requirements for our Registered Nurse positions are:

Education: 

•  Graduate of an accredited nursing program required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred 

 Experience: 

•  1 experience as a registered nurse 
• More than one year experience as a registered nurse in a Federally Qualified Health Center(FQHC preferred). 

Licensure:

•  Active RN license in the state of PA. 
•  Basic Life Support (BLS).
