Join an outpatient clinic in Alexandria, VA as a travel Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and direct discipline-specific therapy services to support patients returning to community activities. Perform documentation, goal writing, and letters of medical necessity in compliance with regulatory and clinic policies. Participate in student supervision and pursue ongoing professional development. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational policies. Demonstrate safety awareness and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Virginia physical therapy license required prior to the start of the assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy delivering evaluations, plan of care development, functional treatment programs, and documentation.
- Ability to complete required documentation including functional quality indicators, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring students in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated engagement in professional development and continuing education.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
